Braden Smith… radio rogue, weather wizard, and BBQ boss! For over 25 years, Braden has been charming audiences on radio and TV, hosting shows on radio stations hosting shows from Houston to Raleigh, and forecasting the weather with more personality than a talking umbrella. His journey even started right here in Fredericksburg at SuperHits 95.9 and Thunder 104.5! A Maryland native, Braden’s blood runs purple and orange (Ravens and Orioles, of course!), but he’s never one to miss a game, happily sporting the colors of the Commanders, Nationals, Caps, and DC United too. When he’s not making magic on the airwaves, you can find Braden navigating the high (or at least, watery) seas with his wife Allison, or unleashing his inner pitmaster, coaxing smoky perfection out of ribs and brisket on the smoker. He’s as dedicated to a perfectly smoked rack of ribs as he is to a 5-day forecast; that’s just how Braden rolls!
